I can run turbotax online-but not sure my computer is really doing anything in that instanceД«est guess is that some fragment of old turbotax installs was messed up in the Win 10 upgrade (registry?). I can navigate to the directory, double click the Turbotax.exe file (which is the correct 1009 kb) and still Tried safe mood, various compatibility settings, sub directory installationsДЄfter each installation, ' unable to find the turbotax.exe file' even though the error message reports the correct directory is being searched.

Installed and uninstalled on c root, c program(x86) and on each of my hard drives. TTax pushed two new version to me, same result.

The disk successfully installs Turbotax on my daughters Win 8 laptop. It is the only program I've been unable to run This product has installed on millions of Win 10 machines. Unfortunately, cannot get Turbotax to install on this computer.

The booting issue seems to have been solved with an update to the bios on my motherboard. Have run multiple virus scans, adaware, etc. I suspect I need to do a Clean install and loose all of my programs (well, have to reinstall) And as all has worked until now with Turbo tax (and no answers on MS support fourm, IвЂ™ve been living with it. I had tried to reset to Win 7 in September, but could not. But if I select the C drive (my intended boot drive) using the bios options, If I enter the bios at boot, and select the вЂњdisk managerвЂќ option, my computer boots quickly and Win 10 works.
